About Me
Melanie Dominguez is a New York-based photographer who captures vulnerability in the subconscious. Dominguez has been interested in photography for as long as she can remember. She always takes photos on her phone, experimenting with perspective, color, and external equipment. Dominguez has a BFA in Photography and Imaging. With a minor in advertising, Dominguez’s work includes much studio work. Dominguez is not limited to one photographic style, working in both natural and staged sets. She embraces all photographic styles. Aside from her studies, she is self-taught, experimenting with various styles and mediums. Although she mainly works digitally, she finds film fascinating and continues to work with it on her own time.
